UPDATE: Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has extended her “Stay Home, Stay Safe” executive order. 
The order has been extended through April 30, 2020. The City of Highland Park ordered is extended to April 30, 2020. 
City Hall will remain closed until April 30, 2020. All city services will be available. Please contact departments directly via phone, email or visit www.highlandparkmi.gov. 
The order limits gatherings and travel and requires all workers who are not necessary to sustain or protect life to stay home.

Governor Whitmer’s latest Executive Order, 2020-21, which takes effect tonight at 12:01 a.m. further restricts daily activities in the State of Michigan to only those “necessary to sustain or protect life or to conduct minimum basic operations.” The Order extends the closure of school buildings from the previous April 5 date to April 13 at the earliest. In compliance with the Order, Highland Park School District offices will remain closed until after April 13 subject to future Orders. All essential District services, including transcript requests, will be available remotely, by phone, email and online. We will continue to keep you posted as more information is made available.
